A mathematician, computer scientist and US military.

She came up with the idea of a computer language based on English to simplify programming 💡 Thanks to her, we went from a encrypted language (0 or 1) to a natural language that anyone can understand (If…then…else) 🎉

Why is she in the spotlight?

Programming languages have significantly contributed to the democratization of computer science 💪 One of her main goals was to make computers more accessible and easier to use ⚙️

The computer tools we use nowadays still rely on the fundamentals Grace Hopper established in the past 💻 Moreover, COBOL is still used to this day! 😲
