Who is she?

A Sino-American physicist, specialized in nuclear physics 🌠

In 1956, she created an experiment 🔎 (now named after her) to demonstrate a principle which was theoretically stated by two other physicists 🧪 These two men will later be awarded with the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1957. She will only get credit for her work in 1978 after winning the Wolf Prize 🏆

Why is she in the spotlight?

She is the Chinese Marie Curie but was, just like many other women, victim of the Matilda effect 😔

Our goal is to bring back to light these women forgotten by History ☀️
